ready for 24: season 8 | the Signpost

the much awaited eighth season of 24 will start hitting our TV screens by january 17, 2010. and already the anticipation (especially those diehard 24 fans) is building up. here’s the latest trailer. hopefully, this season will be a great one.

as advertised, several characters will be back (e.g., chloe o’brian, renee walker, pres. taylor, kim bauer, etc.) and a number of new faces are added to make jack bauer’s (kiefer sutherland) life more exciting (new cast includes freddie prinze, katee sackhoff, john boyd, etc.). season 8 is set in new york city.

Freddie Prinze Jr is there?! Well, count me in. Actually, kahit naman wala sya, okay na. I’m just sad na patay na si Bill Buchanan. I hope Ethan (chief of staff?) is there—I like his “straightarrow-ness.”

yup, freddie prinze is a surprise, but i’m hoping he’ll pull it off. the producers did the same thing with ricky schroeder in season 6 and it worked great. i agree, bill’s demise is a great loss to the series

sad to say, not even tony’s shadow was seen in this season. still, who knows… baka sa movie version he’ll be there
